KKSU Distance Education is a digital wing of Kavikulaguru Kalidas Sanskrit University. The regular university was established in 1997 in Ramtek, Maharashtra, to promote the Sanskrit language among a wider section of society. The university was named after a very popular Sanskrit poet, Kalidas. He was also a classical Sanskrit author known for his famous Sanskrit plays.
